This prettiest of places is very popular with islanders and tourists alike. Its loveliness as a village to be part of, is enhanced by its spectacular beauty. The main feature being the thousands of palm trees, both in and around it, on first sight it’s breathtaking.
It is a bustling little spot with all local amenities, shops, bars, restaurants, fiestas and its very own carnival. But it still remains uncommercialised except for lunchtimes when tourists arrive for refreshments.
Usually they are en-route to visit the many Cesar Manrique attractions dotted around the north of the island, a real artists’ playground.
