Probably the most well-known resort, is where it all started some 25 year’s ago. It still has an old town and beating heart although the town itself has grown steadily, albeit in a controlled way. No high rise.
The town has two vast, sandy beaches, along which the main road meanders with its rich array of restaurants, bars and shopping opportunities of all kinds. It’s very welcoming to tourists, especially family groups, the Spanish are renowned for their love and acceptance of little ones. |

Nightlife is brisk, entertainers from around the world, alternative fun, singalongs and discos which start at Spanish time. Late.
There are several stables now for the holiday cowboys, as well as deep-sea diving, snorkeling, deep-sea fishing, banana towing(?) and……………….lots more. Also, a golf course is being built, opening hopefully late 2005.
