Christmas and new year didn´t disappoint, clients gathering at Gatwick, Schipol or Dublin, wrapped up in warm clothes (temporarily), desperately hoping for an increase in the temperatures and the value of their own favourite currency on arrival in Arrecife.
What a relief on arrival to be justified at the packing of the bikini and the factor 30 for those whopping great rays of the Canarian sun. Lying on the beach or by the pool had become a reality and sitting by the sea sipping award-winning Canarian wines and munching on the yummy fish was indeed a reality.
By a miracle, the Christmas holiday period remained friendly and warm except at night when the clear skies brought the temperatures down. Good for the grapes though in La Geria as that is how they survive and produce those luscious wines.
