Among the eccentric characters who decorate the village of Haría, in the north of Lanzarote, with their charm is a woman who can be found at the Saturday market.
Her name is Aurora and she’s from Barcelona. She sells ribbons at the church end of the village square, dancing around with a ribbon flailing away in her hands and dressed in a groovy coat with different coloured stars and red hat.
She gives off a Bohemian vibe, her two-tailed ribbons injecting a real carefree atmosphere of colour among the other stalls with their handmade goods.
She is loved by everyone, adults and kids alike for her infectious free spirit and sense of fun. A warm, lovely, genuine and caring character.
